Amoratherapy has become a buzzword of health over the past decade. The term was first mentioned and described by French chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefosse in 1937. Soy candles are a perfect way to receive the benefits of aromatherapy. Practiced by millions, aromatherapy is loosely described as using essential oils and extracts to improve a person’s mood, cognitive function or health. Aromatherapy is a generic word used to describe many treatments from massage to improving the atmosphere in a home. Many of these products and service are also available over the counter at drug store and local shops.
Soy wax candles are and excellent way to use aromatherapy to relax. As a aromatherapy candle burns, it fills your home or office with the fragrance of the essential oils in the candle. One hundred percent soy wax candles are best to use for candle aromatherapy because soy wax burns cleaner than any other type of candle. Ina addition to the benefits of the essential oils, many people who are sensitive to candle soot report that soy candles do not bother them when burning. Soy candles are best for aromatherapy because they burn so clean and fill your home with fragrance.
Look for soy wax candles made with uncut oils. Candles made with uncut essential oils are more fragrant because the essential oils are not blended or ‘cut’ with other less expensive oils. When a candle maker blends essential oils with other oils, they save manufacturing cost but reduce the effectiveness of the aromatherapy. A candle made with “cut’ or blended essential oils will look like any other. However, when burning, the cheaper candle will not provide the same great result as a 100% soy wax candle.
Our handmade 100% soy candles are made with only the finest uncut essential fragrance oils. Our soy wax is never cut or blended with other wax like paraffin. Lower quality candles are usually made with paraffin wax and cut oils. These cheaper candles are not a good choice for aromatherapy. Soy wax candles burn cleaner and produce less soot than any other type of candle wax.
